Old Houses

This wonderful old farm, long abandoned,  still stands here in rural Granville County.   I love these places.  They have become the focus of many of my photos.  I'm going to start sharing them here.  Each one has a story, and I wish I knew them.

This link will take you to one of my older posts; it's a little video of some of my favorite abandoned places.

  2. It was always my dream when I was alot younger to buy one of these old houses and renovate it. They really are a treasure for our history. one thing I love about new england is that they keep these old homes in perfectly tip top shape.

  4. I have almost a fixation for old houses. They seem to speak so loudly of their past. That one is beautiful.

  6. I agree with Ella - I would LOVE to live in an old farm or ranch home - there is so much charm that we just don't get anymore. This is just lovely :) xoxo

  8. I love old houses too. There's so much personality in the architecture. When we drove through Kansas this summer, I stared at all the old, abandoned farm houses like they were works of art. They carry so much past life in those walls!

  9. Thank you for sharing these old farm houses with us. They all have a story to tell. We may or may not know what they are but the greatest thing is they can always inspire new ones.
