Revelation in our woods: the ground is coming to life again right beneath our feet. My walk this day was rewarded by a few little twiggy findings and this, a weed or plant or fungus for which I have no label or name. It's thriving with its fellows in the wet, low areas of the creekside trail.
Sometimes the big concerns in our lives overwhelm us. The news these days is rife with violence, controversy, and just plain stupidity. Walking in the peace and quiet of our farm, though, reminds me to welcome simplicity as a fact of life. It's there all the time.

Lovely post! We still have very cold temperatures and snow, but I did find baby bunny prints in the snow yesterday. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely day!
Hugs,

We still have snow on the ground and probably will for another month or so, but every now and again, little whiffs of spring fill the air and offer their hope! Lovely post.
