Last night a strong, cold wind brought us around an inch of snow. I'd been hoping for a fluffly, picture-perfect snowfall, the kind that lasts for a couple of days and changes the farmscape to a dreamscape. It didn't happen, but I saw instead this smaller vignette of beauty. It is indeed enough.

I live in the mountains of Colorado and the snow just transforms everything. The contrast of the frosted mountains and the blinding blue skies never ceases to make me pause and appreciate their beauty, even after 27 years.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty, Mary Ann. It's very cold here in MI, and the wind is really howling. I too would like a nice pretty snow. Right now, it's bone chilling!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I know I wanted the same! I wanted to make a snowman or woman, no both ;D
ReplyDeleteIt was almost gone, by the time I woke. I was sad...hope we get another chance!
Beautiful photo! We haven't been getting very much snow here. I'm hoping for more!
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you & yours,
Zuzu
